proof:pokemon dont got an END
DIGOMON got END

That just proves that Pokemon can stand the test of time!

i kind of find it humorous that you judge the quality of your anime by the ammount of time the creators milk the franchise for every penny it is worth.

having used to watch both of these shows growing up i can tell you that their are similarities between the two but that doesn't exactly make the show a rip off from one or the other.
if that is the case then from what i can see bakugan is nothing more than a hybrid rip off of yugioh and pokémon

I agree with Chester. Digimon is very different to Pokemon. There are similarities, like in the fact that they are about kids who have monster friends etc. But people don't seem to get the differences.

Digimon is great. :D Pokemon is also great. :D I'm kind of sick of people acting as though you can only like one or the other. They are not the same. Watch it properly and find out.

And by the way. And this name thing annoys me too. Their names were originally Pocket Monsters and Digital Monsters. Pokemon and Digimon are just titles using the same way of shortening the title to make it sound more appealing. It doesn't make them the same thing. By the way Pokemon started from a nintendo game and digimon started from a virtual pet. These are vaguely similar in that you raise a monster to become powerful but there are a million games like that. It's just that these two are the most prominent of them. Monster Rancher is another variation on the format. But I don't see many people saying that it is a rip off.

Please stop complaining about this.

In Japan and other countries (even in Greece in the ancient times), copying/imitating was one of the highest ways of honoring something <:/

well,we're not in the ancient times anymore, are we?
If all the emo ppl dress in black, does that mean the men in black are emo?

I meant to say "was" even as far back as the ancient times and "still is" today. Countries like Japan still consider what we may consider "copying" as honoring something. After all, Pokemon and Digimon were both created in Japan.

:o Oh my god, this is just daft. There is no need to argue this point. It seems that neither of you is willing to change their opinion. I've already made mine known. But I just don't care this much. :(

Can't you just agree to disagree?

(Although I would like to add, in the hope that this won't start another debate, that The Simpsons is nowhere near as good as it used to be)
