And also, maybe maybe MAYBE it just IS the poketech guy. You never know with these different anime/mangas.

The Warrior Posts: 3,035 Group: Global Moderators Member #680 Joined: November 7, 2008	Giovanni isn't even really a character any more. Maybe he was too sinister for the show or something. Team Rocket were just bad guys, they weren't trying to make a new world or something like every other new enemy they've come up with. He only makes a few appearances now in those supposedly comical fantasies that Jessie, James and Meowth have sometimes about getting rewards. I seriously doubt that if they were going to reveal Ash's father, it's not going to be a psycho gangster. It wouldn't fit the tone Pokemon has now... there's not even a hint of an edge any more. If Ash's dad does show up he will probably just be a random with a convenient excuse for being totally absent for the last 10 years. He's probably a trainer, he'll just give Ash some sage advice that he's had about 50 times already. He might battle him or something... the end. It would be quite interesting to see what they come up with for Ash's father, but I have come to expect very little from the current writers of the show. It will probably suck.
