But I'm hoping that the adaptation will be at least about the level of the Harry Potter films in terms of commitment to the source material. If they make it so that I don't actually like it very much, but I can watch it, I will be happy. Or at least watch it without feeling sick to my stomach or being filled with a murderous rage. It's hard to enjoy a film when you are screaming for the blood of the scum who have defiled something you love. Er... lol? (Hopefully it will actually be really good. I don't think it can be that difficult since all they have to do is make the bending look good... and make Appa. A bit of CGI magic should do the trick. I'll wait till the trailers come out before I start judging it. :D)

Apparently Dev Patel (Anwar from Skins... who was also in Slumdog Millionaire) will be playing Zuko. I think that's a really weird choice... maybe a bad one... we'll see when it comes out. It will be called "The Last Airbender". I think the name Avatar was already the title of another movie.

But a common trick in movies is to use people who are older than they are in the movie. take transformers for example...Shia labeouf is not 17 or 18, as portrayed. hey guess what...a sneak preview is rumored to be attached to the transformers movie when its released
